Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioners be kept with the record.

Petitioners complain that the respondent nos.7 and 8 have mortgaged the property to the bank and obtained Rs. 6,000/- crores although petitioners happen to be the owner of the property.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that Purba Jadavpur Police Station did not till date receive the complaint which has been enclosed dated 12.12.2024.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits on instructions that such a copy was definitely served upon the office of the Purba Jadavpur Police Station. However, since the police

authorities claim that till date they have not received the complaint, therefore, no enquiry or investigation has been conducted by the police presumably.

Accordingly, the petitioners are directed to approach the Officer-in-Charge, Purba Jadavpur Police Station with the same complaint dated 12.12.2024. Police authorities would on consideration of the complaint act in accordance with law.

Liberty is granted to the petitioners to approach this Court afresh in case they are dissatisfied with the act and action of the police authorities even after receipt of the complaint. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 7627 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
