The petitioners are the persons who participated in the process of recruitment under the School Service Commission of the year 2009. For the district of South 24-Parganas. No panel has been published till date. The petitioners want to hold a peaceful demonstration seeking to assert rights.

The petitioners may hold their demonstration at Mahatma Gandhi Statue, subject to any reasonable restriction that may be imposed by the Joint Commissioner of Police Headquarters.

The petitioners shall not cause any inconvenience to the public at large and shall clean up the venue at the end of each day of the demonstration. Mr. Bhattacharyya, learned D.S.G.I. represents the Army Authorities who own the property in question. The petitioners shall hold demonstration

subject to the grant of permission by the Army Authorities.

In view of the above directions, W.P.A. 7656 of 2023 is, accordingly, disposed of.

Urgent certified photostat copy of this order, if applied for, shall be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on compliance with all the necessary formalities.
