The auction notice which has been challenged by the petitioner, has been cancelled by the Mathurapur-II Panchayat Samiti by a notice dated March 29, 22023. Hence, nothing survives in the writ petition.

If in future, the petitioner is aggrieved by any further steps that may be taken by the authority contrary to law or in violation of the rules, the petitioner is at liberty to take necessary steps before the competent court or the competent authority.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of . However there will be no order as to costs.
