Mr. Tapan Coommer Dey Mr. Nirupam Sakrar ..for the petitioner Sk. Mujibar Rahman ..for the State The petitioner is presently working as Cashier at Women's Christian College. It is the grievance of the petitioner that his pay has not been property fixed by the authority and resultantly, the petitioner is receiving salary less than the employees of the college who are junior to the petitioner in service. The college forwarded the proposal of the petitioner to fix his pay by a letter dated June 15, 2016.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that his prayer has not yet been considered by the Director of Public Instructions, West Bengal. In that view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Director of Public Instructions, West Bengal to consider the pay fixation

proposal of the petitioner as appearing at page 35 of the writ petition within two months from the date of communication of this order.

The reasoned order should be communicated to the petitioner within seven days thereafter.

The Director of Public Instructions, West Bengal shall hear the college and the petitioner.

With the aforesaid directions, WPA 8245 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
