...for the State In terms of the order dated 4th April, 2025, a report dated 16th April, 2025 of the District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), Purba Medinipur is filed today and same is taken on record.

On perusal of the report dated 16th April, 2025, it appears that petitioner submitted legal heir certificate issued by the competent authority on 11th March, 2025 and thereafter family pension case of the petitioner was processed and forwarded to the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance on 11th April, 2025.

Since, the issue is pending before the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance being respondent no.2, said respondent no.2 is directed to issue pension payment order in favour of the petitioner by three (3) weeks from the date of communication of this order on compliance of necessary formalities. State respondents are directed to release family pension to the petitioner at an early date but not later than eight (8) weeks thereafter. Writ petition stands disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon usual undertakings.
