1. Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2. A case is made out in the writ petition that petitioner is staying along with his brother as co-sharer at the premises and dispute cropped up while petitioner tried to repair his portion of the property by engaging labourers. Private respondents being the co-sharers raised objections and harassed the petitioner which prompted the petitioner to lodge a complaint before the concerned police authority on 2nd March, 2026 alleging the incident which took place on 22nd February, 2026.

3. Petitioner prays for direction upon the concerned police authorities to provide assistance.

4. State respondents and private respondents are represented by learned advocates.

5. Learned advocate representing private respondents has disputed the submission made on behalf of the petitioner regarding allegation made by the petitioner against the private respondents in connection with the incident which took place on 22nd February, 2026.

6. Learned advocate representing State respondents has filed a communication dated 9th April, 2026 of Officer-in-Charge, Khardah Police Station and same is taken on record.

Copies of the communication are made over to the learned advocates representing the petitioner and private respondents.

7. It is disclosed in the communication dated 9th April, 2026 that on receipt of complaint of the petitioner a prosecution being Khardah PS NCR No. 538/2026 was submitted under Section 126 BNSS.

8. Considering the allegation of harassment as made by the petitioner vide a complaint dated 2nd March, 2026 concerned police authorities are directed to maintain peace and tranquility at the locale and keep vigil.

9. Writ petition stands disposed of.

10. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
