Case No.24 of 2026 dated 12.01.2026 under Sections 126(2)/117(2)/118(2)/351(2) of the BNS, 2023. And In the matter of: Ananda Durlav @ Durlabh ... petitioner Ms. Sananda Bhattacharyya ... for the petitioner Mr. S.S. Imam Mr. S. Kundu ... for the State Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there are case and counter case. Both sides suffered injuries. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and relies on the statements of the victim and the other witnesses and the injury report, which shows oblique fracture noted at midshaft of tibia with lateral displacement of the distal fractured fragment and mild comminution at the lateral end of the fracture.

Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities. [ (Jay Sengupta, J.)
