Present petition has been filed for transfer of Matrimonial Suit No.185 of 2025 from the court of learned District Judge, Paschim Midnapore at Midnapore to the court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court at Calcutta.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that opposite party/husband works at Kolkata and also lives in Kolkata. Learned counsel submits that present suit was filed because the opposite party/husband is a permanent resident of Paschim Midnapore.

Learned counsel submits that petitioner/wife is a resident of Hatibagan, Police Station - Burtolla, Kolkata. It is very inconvenient for her to travel to Paschim Midnapore.

Learned counsel for the opposite party on instruction states that opposite party/husband has

recently been transferred to Visakhapatnam and he now residing at Visakhapatnam.

After hearing of both the parties at some length in order to balance the interest. Matrimonial Suit No.185 of 2025 is withdrawn from the court of learned District Judge, Paschim Midnapore and assigned to the court of competent jurisdiction under learned District Judge, Howrah.

Let the transferor court is sent the entire record to the transferee court. Copy of the order be sent to the transferor court and transferee court. 6.

The petition and all pending applications are disposed of.

All connected applications, if pending, are also disposed of.

8.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
