The petitioner seeks transfer of investigation of FIR No. 107 of 2023 dated March 12, 2023 from the Haridevpur Police Station to any Women's Police Station at Kolkata.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is a lady and would be more comfortable in dealing with a lady police officer, let the said FIR be transferred to the Women's division of the Lalbazar PS at Kolkata. It is made absolutely clear that the court case has not gone into the allegations in the FIR.

The transferee Police, Women's Police Station shall investigate the matter as expeditiously as

possible in accordance with law. It is expected that the investigation is completed within two months. The writ petition is disposed of.
