The document has been issued by the office of the District Land & Land Reforms Officer, Paschim Bardhaman.

Learned counsel appearing for the Oil Company submits that the petitioner was to commission the LPG distributorship within four months from the date of issuance of the Letter of Intent.

From the documents annexed to the writ petition, it appears that the letter of intent was issued by the Oil Company on 20th November, 2021. The petitioner has

been given sufficient time to complete the other formalities. The Court has already taken note of the various licences and no-objections obtained by the petitioner in the meantime.

Hence, the petitioner is given liberty to commission the LPG distributorship within three months from today. The submission made on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner would require more time since the petitioner would have to obtain the sanctioned plan from the local authority is considered and rejected.

The impugned order of 1st March, 2023 of the Oil Company is quashed for the above reasons.

Since nothing further remains to be decided in the writ petition, WPA 7673 of 2023 is disposed of in terms of the above.
