-versusBabita Mondal Mr. Dipta Dipak Banerjee ..for the petitioners This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the plaintiffs praying for a direction upon the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 1st Court at Barasat to dispose of the Title Suit No. 470 of 2018 expeditiously.

From the ordersheet appended to this application this Court finds that the date of hearing of the suit was shifted on 22nd November, 2024 from 12th December, 2024 by an order dated 15th July, 2024 and the petitioners were directed to inform the date to the other side and to show proof of service.

By the order dated 22nd November, 2024, 12th December, 2024 was fixed for appearance of the defendant and for passing further orders and the plaintiffs were directed to inform the other side. By an order dated 12th December, 2024, 14th May, 2025 has been fixed for appearance of the defendant and for passing further order and the plaintiffs are directed to inform the defendant and to show proof of service.

In the event the defendant has appeared in the suit and the suit is otherwise ready for hearing, the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 1st Court at Barasat shall make an endeavour to dispose of the Title Suit No. 470 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible. With the above observations and directions, C.O. 1178 of 2025 is disposed of.

No order as to costs.
