Learned advocate for the respondent nos.9 to 12 submits that in the meantime the disciplinary authority had imposed a major penalty of dismissal from service which was challenged by the petitioner in WPA 4198 of 2022. A co-ordinate Bench of this Court by an order dated August 3, 2022 while setting aside and quashing the enquiry report and the order of dismissal from service directed the proceedings to continue de novo. The co-ordinate Bench was further pleased to observe that the charge sheet is not being set aside. In view thereof,

nothing remains to decide in this writ petition and the writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous. (HIRANMAY BHATTACHARYYA, J.)
