Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 253 days. The police filed charge sheet. There is hardly any material implicating the petitioner.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. He submits that one of the co-accuseds described the role played by the petitioner in the incident of murder.

Considering the materials in the case diary, the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (DB) 1084 of 2022 is dismissed.
