Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners standing in the same footing with the other co-accused who were granted anticipatory bail by the order dated November 28, 2017.

State is represented.

The police case is of 2016. The co-accuseds were granted anticipatory bail in 2017. The petitioners were absconding all this while. The petitioners cannot be said to on the same footing due to his absconsion.

Considering the long absconsion of the petitioners, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. CRM (A) 1871 of 2022 is rejected (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Bibhas Ranjan De, J.)
