Present petition has been filed with the following prayers:- a) A writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding respondents, their men, agents and subordinates to show cause as to why they have not yet taken any steps whatsoever against the erring operators plying their vehicles without any valid time table and further as to why they are bent upon for approval of the adjustment of time table sheet illegally prepared by the Bus Owners Associations having no jurisdiction over the same and further as to why they have not taken any steps whatsoever as per the representation made by the petitioners seeking for the aforesaid redressal;
b) A writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the Respondent authorities to forthwith act upon the representations of the petitioners by taking penal measures against the erring operators for plying their vehicles without their valid time table and to restrain itself from approval of the adjustment time table sheet illegally and without any jurisdiction prepared by the Bus Owners Associations without any prior consultation with the petitioners and other operators in the field;
c) A writ in the nature of Certiorari direction the respondents to produce the records of this case so that conscionable justice may be meted out to the petitioner;
d) Ad interim directing the respondent authority to forthwith act upon the representations of the petitioners by taking penal measures against the erring operators for plying their vehicles without their valid time table and to restrain itself from approval of the adjustment time table sheet illegally and without any jurisdiction prepared by the Bus Owners Associations without any prior consultation with the petitioners and other operators in the field;
e) Any other writ or writs, order or orders, direction or directions as Your Lordships may deem fit and proper.

Learned counsel for petitioners on instruction states that he would limit his prayer only to the extent that the representation dated 19th March, 2026 be considered and disposed of in accordance with law after giving all the parties an opportunity of being heard.

Learned counsel for the State submits that without admitting the contentions made in the petition and without prejudice to the contentions to be taken by the State. The Secretary, Regional Transport Authorities, Murshidabad shall dispose of the representation dated 19th March, 2026 within four weeks in accordance with law after giving all the parties an opportunity of being heard.

In view of the submissions made, the petition is disposed of. Since the respondents have not filed the opposition, the averments made in the petition are deemed to have not been admitted. The
respondents are directed to dispose of representation dated 19th March, 2026 in accordance with law after giving all the parties an opportunity of being heard.

WPA 8071 of 2026 stands disposed of.
