In re : I. A. CRAN 1 of 2021 By an order dated May 31, 2021 passed by a Coordinate Bench in CRM No.3024 of 2021, the petitioner had been granted anticipatory bail, inter alia, on the condition that he will meet the Investigating Officer once every week starting from June 7, 2021.

The petitioner says that he has scrupulously complied with the aforesaid condition and has met the Investigating Officer every week. The charge sheet has been submitted. He

may be excused from further reporting to the Investigating Officer on a regular basis.

The State files a report wherefrom it appears that the petitioner has indeed complied with the aforesaid condition. Let the report be kept on record.

In view of charge sheet having been submitted, in our opinion, it may not be necessary for the petitioner to report to the Investigating Officer on a regular basis. Accordingly, the order dated May 31, 2021 is modified to the extent that the petitioner need not meet the Investigating Officer once every week or on regular basis, but shall do so as and when called upon by the Investigating Officer to do so. The other portions of the order dated 31.5.2021 shall remain unaltered.
