gd/ssd Mr. Robiul Islam ..Petitioner (In Person) Mr. Tapan Kumar Mukherjee, Mr. Somnath Naskar, Ms. Debdooti Dutta ..for the State The grievance raised in this petition is that Chunalkali - Jalangi (SH-11) Road via Islampur - Domkal is the State Highway and an important road but the road is in miserable condition, therefore, a prayer has been made to issue a direction to the respondents to take prompt action for construction/repair of the said road.

Learned counsel for the State has informed that for the construction of 29 kilometer of the said road, the work order dated 25.04.2022 has already been issued and estimated amount put to tender was Rs.45,78,50,243/- and now the work of strengthening of the road will be done within a period of one year. A copy of the work order has been produced by the learned counsel for the State, which is taken on record. He has also informed that the work in pursuance to the

work order has already been started with effect from 2nd May, 2022.

The subsequent development adequately redresses the grievance of the petitioner.

Hence, the present petition is disposed of by taking on record the stand of the State as also the work order.
