Applicant alleges violation of the order dated 10th July, whereby respondent no.5/Prodhan of Basubati Gram Panchayat was directed to pass a reasoned order after hearing the parties and on consulting the relevant documents. On hearing the learned advocates representing the Prodhan as well as State respondents, it appears that till date no such order has been passed by the Prodhan of Basubati Gram Panchayat, District-Hooghly.

Let such decision to be taken strictly in terms of the direction as contained in the order dated 10th July, 2018 by the present Prodhan of Basubati Gram Panchayat being added alleged contemnor by six weeks from date and submit a

compliance report before this Court on the next date.

Leave is granted to the learned advocate representing the applicant to amend the cause title and add the present Prodhan of Basubati Gram Panchayat as added alleged contemnor by 16th April, 2024.

Service of notice upon the added alleged contemnor stands dispensed with since the Pradhan of Basubati Gram Panchayat is represented by learned advocate.

List the matter under the same heading for further consideration on 14th June, 2024.
