Mr. Gopal Chandra Ghosh, learned Senior Advocate representing the petitioner submits that suit instituted by the petitioner before the Civil Court was decreed. 4.

It was directed by the Civil Court while disposing of the suit that defendants are permanently restrained from disturbing the plaintiff from enjoying peaceful possession over the scheduled property or from forcefully dispossessing the plaintiff of such property or from starting any construction work at the suit property. 5.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that in violation of such decree private respondents are disturbing peaceful possession of the petitioner over the said property prompting the petitioner to approach this Court with the present writ petition. Prayer is made for

[2] direction upon the concerned police authority to take steps in terms of the decree dated 20th April, 2016. 6.

State respondents are represented by Mr. Suman Sengupta, learned advocate who has opposed this writ petition and has contended that the decree dated 20th April, 2016 needs to be executed by taking necessary steps in accordance with law.

Since decree had been passed by the Civil Court, liberty is granted to the petitioner to put the same into execution as per law by taking necessary steps. 8.

However, concerned police authorities are directed to maintain peace and tranquility at the locale and keep vigil.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
