The petitioner complains that the panchayat was taking steps for construction of concrete road over the private land of the petitioner to be used for public purpose without acquiring the same.

It has been submitted that objection was filed against such construction and after filing the writ petition, the construction work did not commence. As it has been submitted by the petitioner that construction has not commended at all, accordingly, there is no requirement of passing any order in the instant writ petition.

In the event, the Panchayat intends to construct the road over the private land of the petitioner then the Panchayat shall proceed with the same only after acquiring the land of the petitioner in accordance with law.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
