The petitioners being aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities has approached this court.

State has submitted a report which encloses an order of the Revenue Officer wherein the prayer of the petitioner for correction of records under Section 50(1)(f) of the WBLR Act, 1955 was rejected.

The learned advocate appearing

for the petitioner submits that a civil case being TS 283 of 2024 was instituted wherein an ad interim injunction order was passed. Subsequently, there were directions upon the police authorities to implement the order. But, inspite of the same, the police authorities did not abide by the order passed by the civil court.

On the other hand, learned advocate appearing for the respondent nos. 7 and 8 submits that the petitioner has no right in respect of the land. To that effect, the Revenue Authorities have already affirmed the same. Another title suit being TS 151 of 2024 is also pending before the learned Civil Judge (Sr. Division), 1st Court, Uluberia.

I have considered the submissions of the petitioner and the respondent nos.

7 and 8 and I find that there is a land dispute existing between the petitioner and the private respondents. Both the petitioner and the private respondents are already

before the learned civil court. The police authorities are well aware regarding the nature of the dispute existing between the petitioner and the private respondents.

Having considered the nature of the accusations, I direct that, in case, there is any breach of the civil court's order, either of the parties would approach the civil court for necessary remedies.

So far as the police authorities are concerned, they would keep a strict vigil for maintaining law and order.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 7654 of 2025 is disposed of.
