Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 82 days. Police filed charge sheet and, therefore, further detention of the petitioner is not required. The victim girl was recovered.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the petitioner was absconding for 12 years.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary and considering the long period of absconsion of the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (DB) 1089 of 2022 is dismissed.
