By this public interest litigation, the petitioner seeks for action against the respondent no.10, who is a practising advocate in the Courts of Malda district. 2.

We have seen the writ petition along with the annexures and we find that there are several criminal cases registered against the respondent no.10 and there are also counter-cases registered against those complainants at the instance of the respondent no.10 as well as his sister.

The respondent no.10 has appeared in person and questioned the bona fides of the public interest litigatnt stating that he is the close relative of another person by name Md. Wasim Bari, who had filed the writ petition in W.P.A. 2934 of 2024 before the learned Single Bench alleging police inaction and

case to be registered against the respondent no.10 and his sister.

Considering the scope and jurisdiction of this Court in a public interest writ petition, the prayer sought for cannot be granted and it is for the concerned authorities before whom the cases have been registered and the concerned Court before whom the cases are pending to take a decision in this matter. 5.

With the above observations, W.P.A.(P) 135 of 2024 stands disposed of.
