Mr. Banerjee, learned senior advocate appearing for the petitioner alleges that in terms of the order passed by this Court, the petitioner went to meet with his children but they were not residing along with their mother being the alleged contemnor no.1 at 21, P.K. Biswas Road. However, Mr. Trivedi, learned senior advocate appearing for the alleged contemnor no.1 submits that the alleged contemnor no.1 is residing at 21, P.K. Biswas Road and that on an earlier occasion the petitioner accompanied by his brother went to meet with his children and created disturbance.

In course of hearing, we have requested Mr. Banerjee and Mr. Trivedi to ensure that the dispute amongst the parties is resolved peacefully.

Mr. Banerjee submits that the petitioner shall alone visit the premises at 21, P.K. Biswas Road where the alleged contemnor no.1 is residing to meet with the children and undertakes not to create any disturbance whatsoever. In such circumstances, Mr. Trivedi submits that the alleged contemnor no.1 shall allow the petitioner to meet with the children on the dates specified. In view thereof and on the suggestion of the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties, we direct that till 3rd May, 2026, the petitioner shall visit his children alone on the weekends, as directed in the order dated 17th September, 2025, till 3rd May, 2026. The learned advocates appearing for the petitioner and the alleged contemnor no.1, on our request, have consented to be present when the petitioner would go to meet his children, as directed above.

On the returnable date, both the learned advocates shall file short reports before this Court as regards the steps taken in terms of this order.

List the matter for further consideration under the heading 'To Be Mentioned' in the daily supplementary list of this Court on 7th May, 2026.

The above directions have been issued without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the petitioner and the alleged contemnor no.1.
