Petitioners are aggrieved by the progress of Chatterjeehat Police Station case no. 107/24 which was registered for investigation under Sections 420/406 of the Indian Penal Code. The said case was registered on or about 09.06.2024. Petitioners complained regarding the act and actions of particularly respondent nos. 6 and 7 who were at a particular point of time associated as employees of the companies.

Be that as it may, the investigation of the case is in progress, however, the nature of expertise required for carrying on such investigation, may be better available with the Cyber Crime Police Station of the concerned Commissionerate.

Accordingly, the investigation of Chatterjeehat Police Station case no. 107/24 dated 09.06.2024 be

transferred to the Officer-in-Charge of Cyber Crime Police Station, Howrah Police Commissionerate. The concerned investigating agency would put in efforts to trace out the delinquents and their complicity in connection as complained by the petitioner companies.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 7741 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
