Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that considering the period of detention and considering the fact that police filed charge sheet and considering the fact that case is document based, the prayer for bail of the petitioner should be considered. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. He submits that the petitioner is an accountant of the Bankura Judgeship. He is instrumental in defalcating funds of the Judgeship.
Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (DB) 1091 of 2022 is dismissed.
