The petitioner complains that the respondent police authority is not taking action in terms of the complaint lodged by him.

A report was called for from the Officer-inCharge, Titagarh Police Station vide order dated September 21, 2020.

Such report has been filed by the State respondent, which is taken on record.

On perusal of the said report it appears that on the basis of a verbal complain of the petitioner enquiry was conducted by the police and a proceeding under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been initiated against one Sumi Biswas vide Titagarh Police Station P.R. No. 243/20 dated June 10, 2020. The report suggests

that the grievance of the petitioner has been properly addressed.

In view of such position of the matter no further order need be passed in the present matter. W.P.A. 5665 of 2020 is disposed of with the above observation.

The connected application being CAN 1 of 2020 (Old No. : CAN 3536 of 2020) is disposed of accordingly.

No order as to costs.
