2. Present petition has been filed for inaction on the part of the State Transport Authority, West Bengal Transport Department, Alipore R.T.O.

were not taking any notice on the representation of the petitioner dated 5th March, 2026 for the route change on the medical grounds.

3. Learned Government Pleader has fairly submitted that the representation of the petitioner shall be considered and decided within a reasonable period in accordance with law.

4. Taking into account the submission of the petitioner and learned Government Pleader the

Court considers that there will be no purpose of taking the matter pending.

5. Hence the respondents are directed to consider and decide the request of the petitioner for change of route made vide communication dated 5th March, 2026.

6. Taking into account the same shall be considered and decided within six weeks in accordance with law. The same would be communicated within two weeks.

7. With this observation this petition is disposed of.

8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, duly applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all usual requisite formalities. (Dinesh Kumar Sharma, J.)
