And In Re : Sankar Halder @ Shankar Halder ...... petitioner Mr. Sumanta Das ....for the petitioner Mr. Joydeep Roy Mr. Amanul Islam ....for the State The incident of assault took place where, the injured suffered grievous hurt.

The petitioner stands implicated in the incident of assault.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1358 of 2023 is dismissed.
