Counsel for the petitioner places two orders of the learned Magistrate that have been annexed to the supplementary affidavit.

The said orders clearly indicate that the investigation is not going on satisfactorily. The petitioner has also stated that the private respondent is threatening to kill him. A further complaint in this regard has been lodged before concerned Magistrate.

As far the last grievance of further threat to the petitioner from the private respondents, since the said respondent is on bail granted by the Sessions Court below, the petitioner shall be at liberty to approach the Sessions Court with suitable application for modification or cancellation of bail.

The threat to the petitioner has been mentioned before the Magistrate in the form of an application. In that view of the matter, the Officer-incharge, Chandannagar Police Station shall provide necessary police protection to the petitioner for a period of one month from date.

The investigation is directed that to be completed mandatorily and positively within a period of one month from date and final report shall be made available to the writ petitioner thereafter.

The writ petitioner may take out appropriate proceedings against the final report, inter alia, in the form of Narazi.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order on usual undertakings.
