Mr. Anindya Sengupta, Additional Secretary, Home and Hills Affairs Department, Government of West Bengal has filed a report of the Additional Chief Secretary, yesterday i.e. 23rd February, 2023. The same is taken on record.

The writ petitioner shall be entitled to go through the same.

It appears from the said report that a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- have been paid to the writ petitioner. However, if the petitioner has not received the said sum of Rs.3,00,000/-, he shall be at liberty to mention the writ petition for revival. If the petitioner is entitled to any other compensation from any other authority in accordance with law, he shall be at liberty to apply for the same.

In view of the aforesaid, nothing further remains to be decided in this writ petition.

There will be no order as to costs.
