60 kilograms of ganja (commercial quantity) was recovered from the joint possession of the petitioner and three other persons. In view of the restriction in Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer for bail stands rejected.

Memo of Evidence filed on behalf of the State be taken on record.

We are told that charge has been framed and hearing of the trial has been fixed on 13th, 16th and 17th August, 2021.

We request the learned Trial Court to bring the trial to a logical conclusion as expeditiously as the business of the Court may permit.
