The petitioner has challenged an order of demolition dated December 29, 2020 which was subsequently rectified by an order dated June 12, 2021. The said order is an appealable order and, as such, the petitioner is granted leave to prefer an appeal in accordance with law.

If the Kolkata Municipal Corporation is not informed about any interim order that may be passed in the said appeal to be preferred by the petitioner against the order of demolition within three months, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation may proceed in accordance with law.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
