Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner and the report submitted by the State are taken on record. None appears for the private respondents despite service.

It appears that there is long standing dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents and cases and counter cases have been filed by the parties in this regard. The petitioner complains that the complaint lodged by him before the police authority on 10th March, 2023 has not been acted upon. In such event, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate for redressal of his grievance.

Learned counsel for the State submits that two other complaints lodged by the petitioner have been registered as FIR and charge sheets submitted upon completion of investigation.

Nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the present application. However, the police authority is directed to ensure that no untoward incident occurs involving the petitioner and the private respondents and there is no breach of peace and tranquility. The police

authority shall render necessary assistance/protection to the petitioner as and when required.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
