Appeal is directed against the judgment and order DL-32 27.03.2024 Court No.29 (AD) dated March 15, 2024 passed in WPA 7850 of 2024. On consent of the parties, the appeal is treated as on day's list and taken up for final hearing. By the impugned judgment and order, the learned Trial Judge directed holding of election of the workers' union within a specified period of time. Election within such specified period of time was not held.

State preferred the present appeal against such judgment and order.

By our order dated March 21, 2024 and largely at the invitation of parties, we extended the time to hold the election, in terms of the impugned judgment and order dated March 15, 2024.

We are informed that election of the workers' union was duly held.

This fact is not disputed by the respondents. In such circumstances, MAT 561 of 2024 along with IA No.: CAN 1 of 2024 are disposed of by recording that the impugned judgment and order dated March 15, 2024 stands complied with within the extended period, with no other as to costs.
