Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities as he complains that the private respondents committed him a job and to that extent wrongfully accepted Rs.3,90,000/- lakh and inspite of informing the police authorities although, Pingla Police Station case no. 82/2024 was registered for investigation but no proper steps were taken.

Learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that steps taken by the investigating agency.

It is reflected from the representation that the petitioner received a sum of about Rs.70,000/-, thereafter entered into a term of settlement with the private respondents.

Having considered that some steps have been taken and the petitioner has entered into a compromise with the accused/respondents, I am of the view that the police authorities would take steps to complete the

process of investigation in accordance with the provisions of law.

Accordingly, WPA 7737 of 2025 is disposed of. Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
