The report submitted by the Inspector in charge, Balurghat police Station reflects that the evidence of CSW 10 is fixed on 04.07.2026. Earlier order-sheets which have been enclosed along with the bail application also reflect that such date for the evidence of CSW 10 has been fixed by the learned trial court for a considerable period of time and since 01.04.2025, the evidence of CSW 10 has been continuing. The petitioner is in custody for four years nine months.

Having considered the advanced stage of the case, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected and last opportunity is granted to the prosecution to complete the

evidence within a period of 60 days from the date of communication of this order. The learned trial court would consider the period of detention of the present petitioner and pronounce the verdict of the case by 30th September, 2026. The learned trial court would, if the proceedings continue after 30th September, 2026, release the petitioner on bail provided the petitioner cooperates with the learned trial court and do not delay the trial in any manner within the scheduled time period.

With the aforesaid observations, CRM (M) 905 of 2026 is disposed of.
