The petitioner is aggrieved by the progress of investigation into the FIR being No. 21 of 2022 dated 22.01.2022 registered with the Kasba Police Station. The petitioner claims that a large number of other sections, inter alia, namely, 406 of the Indian Penal Code have not been included in the FIR. The Investigating Officer of the case should make note of the same and if necessary approach the concerned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate for adding additional section.

It is expected that the investigation is completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from date, mandatorily and positively. In the event the accused persons do not cooperate in the investigation, it is expected that coercive measures are taken by the police.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
