Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate appears on behalf of the petitioner.

Mr. Ali, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State has produced the case diary as also a progress report. Let the progress report as submitted by the learned advocate for the State be kept with the record.

The progress report reflects that the charge was framed on 6th June, 2023 and thereafter dates have been fixed continuously for recording of the evidence of CSW 1.

Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that in the meantime, during the pendency of the revisional application the victim girl has been married and as such she has not participated in the proceedings before the trial court. Be that as it may, the same cannot be a ground for termination. The trial court is directed to ensure regarding the prosecution witnesses being produced on the date fixed. A

schedule be fixed of three dates and such schedule be fixed once in every month so that the trial is concluded within a reasonable period of time.

No unnecessary adjournments be granted to either of the parties.

The public prosecutor conducting the case representing the State would produce exhibits, materials and documents on the dates so fixed for examination of the witness concerned. All efforts be taken by the stake-holders to conclude the trial at the earliest.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 1370 of 2022 is disposed of.

Pending applications, if any, are disposed of accordingly. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J]
