For the S.E Railway The petitioner submits that in view of the subsequent events which took place, the instant writ petition being WPA 5708 of 2020 has become infructuous and he does not intend to proceed with the writ petition any further.

In view of such submission, the writ petition is treated as dismissed on the ground of being infructuous.

The respondents raise an issue of nonmaintainability of the writ petition on the ground of lack of territorial jurisdiction of the Calcutta High Court to entertain or decide the issue.

As the petitioner does not intend to proceed with the writ petition any further, the Court does not feel it fit to decide the issue of jurisdiction, in this matter, at this stage.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
