Case No. 406 of 2020 dated 19.11.2020 under Sections 21(c)/22(c)/23(c)/27A/28/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that her client has been implicated primarily on the basis of the evidence of one Sanjoy, who is the principal accused and from whom a quantity of contraband goods was recovered.

Counsel for the State submits that an earlier application for anticipatory bail has already been rejected. The petitioner is absconding for eight months.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant relief under Section 438 CrPC and hence the application stands dismissed.
