Copy of the supplementary affidavit is served upon the respondents. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that during the pendency of the writ petition the petitioner has been promoted and as such the cause of action in this writ petition does not survive.
The submission of the petitioner is not opposed by any of the parties.
In view of the submission made on behalf of the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner has been promoted pursuant to a direction dated December 08, 2020 nothing survives in the writ petition.
Hence, WPA No. 5131 of 2016 is disposed of as the same has become infructuous.
The applications being CAN No. 1 of 2018(Old No.CAN/5364/2018) and CAN No.
of 2019(Old No.CAN/11150/2019) are disposed of accordingly. It is made clear that any further promotion which would be given to the petitioner would be in terms of the order dated April 12, 2012 passed in W.P.No. 19140(W) of 2007.
