Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner prays for bail as on the basis of statement of co-accused the present petitioner has been implicated. Petitioner has been taken into custody after the anticipatory bail of the petitioner was rejected.

Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

I have taken into account the order passed by the coordinate bench in CRM(A) 1927 of 2025 wherefrom it reflects that the co-accused produced documents of the petitioner which was found to be fake more particularly the GST documents which reflects that the petitioner had a valid drug licence.

Having regard to the manner in which petitioner intended to obtain liberty by hoodwinking the Court, I am not inclined to release the petitioner at this early stage when he is in custody for 60 days. Petitioner would approach this Court after the evidence of seizure list witnesses are over. 5.

Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 652 of 2026 is dismissed 6.
