Act. And In the matter of : Tandra Guha Neogi @ Tandra Guha Neogi & anr. ...... petitioners Mr. Amanul Islam, Mr. Sourav Mukherjee ....for the petitioners Mr. Sudip Kumar ....for the State Two persons stand arrested in the police case. The statement of the de facto complainant recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code squarely implicates the petitioners before us in the offence of torture and demand for dowry.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

CRM (A) 1382 of 2023 is rejected.
