Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 553 days. There was a love relationship between the petitioner and the victim. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The statement of the victim does not depict any relationship between the petitioner and the victim. Considering the age of the victim and her statement recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code implicating the petitioner and considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (DB) 1100 of 2022 is dismissed.
