The grievance of the petitioner is that his exercised option to switch over from CPF to GPF has not yet been processed by the concerned District Inspector of Schools, the respondent no. 6 herein and he is praying a direction upon the said respondent for expeditious disposal of his said option.

As directed by the order dated September 27, 2022, Mr. Basu Mallick, learned counsel for the State files a report, which is taken on record.

It appears from the said report that the petitioner had exercised the said option beyond the period of time prescribed under Notification No. 749SE(L)/SL/5S-56/13(Pt-V Kolkata) dated June 13, 2014, the petitioner therefore is not entitled to the relief as prayed for.

W.P.A. 7372 of 2022 is dismissed without any order as to costs.
