Petitioner approached this Court being aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities as the concerned police station was not responding to the ingredients of all the offences, although being available and not investigated into by the police authorities.

Presently learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that steps have been taken so far as the addition of sections are concerned. However, the stridhan articles are yet to be recovered.

Mr. Samanta, learned advocate appears on behalf of the State. Having regard to the initial grievance of the petitioner being addressed, I am of the view further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. So far as return of the stridhan articles are concerned, petitioner would approach the jurisdictional Magistrate in seisin of the issue. Learned Magistrate on an assessment of the application and the police report, will pass necessary directions as he deems fit and proper.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 7762 of 2025 is disposed of.

In view of the directions passed above CAN 1 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
