Being aggrieved by the order passed by the disciplinary authority on April 24, 2025, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the Additional Director General of Police on February 14, 2026. The same is alleged to be kept pending.

None represents the State respondent.

As it appears that the appeal against the final order is alleged to be kept pending before the Additional Director General of Police, accordingly, no useful purpose will be served by keeping the writ petition pending.

The instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the concerned appellate authority to consider and dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner strictly in accordance with law at the earliest.

reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner disclosing the fate of his appeal.
