It has been pointed out that the subject-matter of the present case involves recovery of 451 grams of Brown Sugar from the exclusive possession of the petitioners. Having considered that the seizure is of commercial quantity of contraband, I am of the opinion that the provision of Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted. Accordingly, the application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 423 of 2025, is dismissed.

However, the State would take steps for expediting the progress of the trial.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
