1. The present writ application has been filed, inter alia, complaining inaction on the part of the respondent no. 4 to execute a certificate issued under Section 8 of the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972.

2. Mr. Ghosh, learned advocate appearing on behalf ot the State respondents, on instruction, submits that during pendency of the present writ application, the aforesaid certificate has been executed and the petitioner has been paid his rightful dues.

3. Mr. Shaw, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner confirms such statement.

4. In view of such, nothing survives in the present writ application and the same is disposed of without any order as to costs.
